Welcome to the support page for Rephone. Rephone allows you to reuse your old or idle phones as security cameras and monitor them from your primary device. If you run into any issues or have suggestions, we are happy to help.

Common Questions

1. How does Rephone work?

You can turn an idle phone into a camera device and log in with the same account from your main phone. The camera phone streams video to our secure backend, and your viewer phone can watch live video, receive alerts, and access cloud recordings (if enabled).

2. I cannot connect to my camera phone.

Make sure both phones have a stable internet connection (Wi‑Fi is recommended for the camera device).
Ensure you are signed in with the same account on both devices.
Check that the camera phone has granted camera and microphone permissions to the app.
Try restarting the app on both devices.

3. Subscription and purchases.

All purchases and subscriptions are managed by Apple through your Apple ID.
You can view or cancel subscriptions in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.
If a purchase does not unlock Premium correctly, please open the app and use the “Restore purchases” or “Refresh membership” option (if available), then contact us with your Apple ID (masked) and purchase time.

Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy. Video streams and recordings are used only to provide the monitoring features of the app. We do not sell your personal data. For detailed information, please refer to our privacy policy inside the app or on our website (if available).
