1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the RePhone Security mobile app (the “App” or “Service”). If you access third-party services or links (such as ads or external webpages), those third parties’ policies apply.
2. Who we are (data controller)
The Service is provided and operated by an individual developer. Contact: dahongwudi123@gmail.com
3. Information we collect
3.1 Account and login information
- Email address: used for login and account identification.
- Verification/authentication data: used to complete login verification.
3.2 Device and usage information
To operate the Service reliably and securely, we may collect:
- Device model, OS version, language/timezone, app version, network type, IP address.
- Diagnostic logs (e.g., crash reports, error codes, performance metrics) for troubleshooting and improvement.
3.3 Device binding and management information
When you bind and manage camera devices, we may process:
- Camera device identifier (e.g., camera_device_id).
- Camera name and location that you set or edit.
- Camera online status (derived from backend/connection state).
3.4 WebRTC connection-related information
The Service uses WebRTC for real-time audio/video. During connection setup and maintenance, we may process connection data such as session identifiers, SDP, and ICE candidates.
- STUN: We may use third-party STUN services (e.g., stun.l.google.com:19302) for NAT traversal. This may involve your public IP/network information being used to establish connections.
- TURN: When direct peer-to-peer connection is not possible, TURN relay credentials may be obtained from our backend and used to relay traffic to improve connectivity.
Audio/video content: By default, we do not store your audio/video content on our servers (unless a future optional cloud-storage feature is introduced with your explicit consent and an updated policy).
3.5 Recordings saved to your photo library/gallery
If you choose to record and save, the recording is saved locally to your device photo library/gallery. We do not read other photos/videos in your library. You can revoke permissions in system settings, which may disable this feature.
3.6 Ads and third-party SDKs (AdMob)
The Service may integrate third-party advertising SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads / AdMob. These SDKs may collect and use information for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention (which may include device identifiers/advertising ID, IP address, coarse location, app interaction information, and diagnostic data), subject to their policies.
